“Can I see your work?” It's a welcome question until you're searching through tabs for the right portfolio, project page, or social account to send.
Start with a short introduction
Keep your projects on the sites where you published them. Your Get My Identity page can introduce your work and link to the pieces you want to share.
A sentence or two is enough to tell people what kind of work they're about to see.
Pick the work you want to send
Don't send someone into a large archive and hope they find the right piece. Choose the handful of projects you would be happy to discuss with them.
- Lead with the work most relevant to the conversation.
- Name the work in each link label, such as “Editorial portraits” or “Packaging for a coffee brand.”
- Link to a case study if you need to explain how the project was made.
- Keep experiments or older work only when they add something useful.
Add your contact details
If someone wants to talk after viewing your work, show them where to reach you.
Put yourname.getmyidentity.com in your bio, email signature, or proposal. You can use the same address even when the work itself lives on several sites. Change the links whenever you have something different to send.
